Description
An ignition coil is a critical part of the ignition system in gasoline-powered internal combustion engines. Its primary function is to transform the battery’s low voltage (typically 12 volts) into a much higher voltage (ranging from 12,000 to 45,000 volts or more). This high voltage is necessary to create a spark at the spark plug, which ignites the air-fuel mixture within the engine’s cylinders, facilitating combustion.
